HowTo: Enable or Disable mailbox forwarding (Office 365)

This document explains how to enable or disable forwarding from your Office 365 Outlook Online mailbox to another mailbox.

Be aware that forwarding to an external address is not a best-practice and in many cases may be blocked outright.

Note: If you need to forward to several recipients (or a Group), you'll need to know the email address of the Group. If it doesn't exist, you'll need to request GreenLoop to create it.

1. Login to Outlook Web App at https://outlook.office.com.2. In the upper right corner, hit the Settings gear. Type Forwarding in the search box.

3. Click on the result for Forwarding.

4. In the box, check Enable forwarding and enter the email address you want to forward to:

5. When done, click Save.

6. To remove forwarding, follow the same procedure and uncheck the Enable Forwarding box, then Save.
